Before you ride

Your first visit

A few useful things to know before requesting a lesson.

Can I join as a complete beginner?

Yes. Lessons cater for all levels, from age six upwards. Tell us the rider’s age and experience in your request so we can discuss a suitable lesson.

Do I need my own riding equipment?

Riding equipment is provided. Let us know if this is your first lesson so the team can explain what you will need.

What should I wear?

Please ask the team about suitable clothing and footwear when confirming your first lesson. Call 028 4481 1880 if you are unsure what to bring.

When should I arrive?

Lessons are by appointment. Confirm your lesson time and when to arrive with the team before travelling. You’ll find our address and map on the contact and directions page.

Is my lesson booked when I submit a request?

No. Your request lets us check availability. We’ll be in touch to confirm a place before you attend.
